Ibuprofen and COVID-19

There have been reports in the French press that ibuprofen might increase the risks with COVID-19.  The advice from Public Health England is that there is no evidence that ibuprofen increases the risk of catching COVID-19 or making it worse.

There are some patients who are generally advised to be very cautious or avoid ibuprofen, and this advice remains the same e.g. people with kidney problems and heart problems, people who have had stomach ulcers etc.
